Neewer Black Touch Screen Digitizer Plastic Middle Frame Bezel Spacer Parts Replacement for iPad 2nd 3rd 4th Generation

The reason for the high rating is that this is a critical component for the aesthetics as well as the life of the replaced touch screen.I had done a replacement without this bezel the first time. It left ugly gaps between the glass and the frame and the alignment was also off. We are talking in millimeters, but, it does show.That screen finally came loose and also cracked at one edge, so, I got a new digitizer AND this bezel.The second time, everything went fine and the iPAD looks and functions as good as new.

This is the second time I've purchased a bezel for the ipad2 screen I keep breaking. Terrible design flaw, IMO. This bezel is better than the 1st one I bought...not sure why I felt that way....it might have come with the adhesive kit? Although I can't recall. The packaging I do recall was good and I was ready to replace the digitiser screen once I had this pretty vital part!

It had a good quality feel to it, but as other reviewers had said, it was a little large. I was able to glue it down with gorilla glue gel and it worked out quite nicely. What I discovered is that I'd much rather have it a little too large than not large enough. The other thing, when dealing with gluing it down, put a small amount of glue gel off to the side of the ipad 2 and then use a small applicator to lay it into the grooves sparingly.

Not the best of fits. Mine ran just a bit too big so I would get 3 sides down and the fourth would bubble up a bit. Not sure if this was just the one I received or if this is an overall flaw with the product but it wasn't worth the time or effort to return it since I was just trading the iPad 2 in for credit toward an iPad Air 2

The bezel can be easily damaged when replacing a broken IPad screen. Most replacement screens don't include this bezel so you'll need to get one to make it look perfect, otherwise you'll make you're repair job look cheap and incomplete. The bezel came with pre-mounted adhesive strips that made installation very easy.

Worked out nicely. I replaced this along with the digitizer on my iPad. My bezel and screen were both damaged and replacing the bezel beat trying to salvage the old one. It fit perfectly after I straightened out the iPad frame.If you bezel is damaged at all this is a nice way to go when putting on a new digitizer.

The bezel fit well but trying to find a "glue" or something like the original bezel glue was difficult. I should have taken a little more time before I bought something and found a bezel that came with its own glue. I ended up reusing the original bezel.

Not worth the added cost of purchasing the adhesive that is not included and shipped in baggie vs. retail box as shown in photos. Also - using supper glue as provided in the Q&A is not recomended by Apple
