Light on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

Very good. If you are into the deeper aspects of Yoga, this is a good book.

Have bought this book to use in a study group, so as we start to work through it I'm sure I will find Iyengar's interpretation of the sutras informative and interesting. As a result perhaps my own teaching will become richer in traditional practice.I am a little unimpressed with the packaging though on Amazon's part. I was expecting the typical cardboard book box that is easily recycled and instead got a plastic bubble wrap package which can not be. I know people will say I can save it to reuse, but haven't managed that in the past as I have a drawer full of them already. Also the bubble wrap didn't protect it anyway, as there is damage to the spine due to impact of hitting the floor after being pushed through letter box.Moan over. Buy the book if you're interested in deepening your understanding of the philosophy and teachings behind yoga. There is so much more to it than being flexible and making "shapes".

This is by far the best book on the Yoga Sutras that I have seen, I have bought a few copies previously but they have been so difficult to read and get my head into but BKS Iyengar makes this book really inspiring and interesting, I would recommend this version of the Sutras to anyone who is thinking of buying a copy of them.

Book was delivered with some bends, woud be nice if they packaged it better to protect it

It is a very interesting book if you are interesting more on discover yoga philosopy

Purchased for the yoga training so hopefully it will give me the light.

A book with many sutras well written and not to hard to understand definitely a book with lots of helpful information
