Merriway BH01946 (4 Pcs) Universal Push-Fit White Plastic Radiator Cap - Pack of 4 Pieces

As others have said, these are for the lockshield valves not thermostatic valves and require a tiny bit of modification... Each comes in two parts, the white cap and the inner black plastic grommet. The grommet was slightly too small but it took all of around one minute to enlarge it by about half a mm with a screwdriver to make it fit i.e. just enough to take off the square edge from the inside of the hole. Once done, the grommet can be pushed on and the white cap fitted over that. They do look v smart. I guess 4.5 stars given that the inner grommet could have been made in a more flexible plastic/hard rubber...

Need a little bit of adjustment of the flexible seal to fit the valve spindle . Not too difficult and they look neat when installed .

Bought to replace very scruffy, paint spattered old caps. My radiators were fitted when the house was built in the 1980's these caps fitted directly onto the valve with no adjusting at all. I'm really pleased with the fitting however they are not brilliant white more a pale grey white, still giving 5 stars for the price and fitment.

These radiator covers fit fine and look neat enough once in place, but to be honest, they’re nothing special. Just basic plastic push-fit caps.The main issue is the price – you can get virtually identical ones on AliExpress for about a third of the cost. For a simple plastic part, this feels a bit steep.If you need them quickly and don’t mind paying extra for convenience, they’ll do the trick. But if you're not in a rush, there are much cheaper options out there.

Like several other buyers, I had to widen the hole in the washer to make these caps fit my radiator, but once that was done the caps were easy to fit and made a big cosmetic improvement to some pretty old and painty radiators. It would be easier to make the caps fit if the washers were made of something a bit softer and more rubbery, rather than hard and plastic, if that's possible. Either way, I still think they do a good job in improving the look of old radiators, and are good value for money.

These were described as universal but did not fit on my valves as the rubber inside has a round hole as apposed to my radiator valves which require a rectangular hole. I've tried to force them on but they are not universal and hence not compatible with my radiators in any way shape or form. Please only buy if you think they are compatible with your radiators.

Spot on for what I needed. Perfect size, fits my towell rail isolator valve perfectly and without the need for modifications as others have suggested.

Had to widen the washer’s hole a bit (just popped a kitchen knife in and circled it a few times). But it the end it did the job on a very old radiator.
