Be careful buying Fannie May on Amazon. I live in Houston (but am from Chicago and this is a childhood favorite) and don’t have regular access to a store. I bought a box last June for my husband for Father’s Day on Amazon and they were horrible - old and stale. The next time I was in Chicago I talked to the store clerk who said don’t buy them online, they have a shelf life and the people who sell them online don’t pay attention or know that. But since it was Christmas time and these were wrapped in Xmas paper I took a chance and they were perfect.

UPDATE The company selling this candy reached to me and issued a refund. Very pleased with their customer service. I am very sad to report that this is not the candy I remembered. The inside was not creamy but chalky and the chocolate covering was very dry and brittle. I bought 2 boxes and I cannot return. Definitely a waster of about $60.00
