They are a bit softer rubber than the originals, which seems to give them a lot more grip on hard/slippy floors - particularly vinyl "wood effect click plank" flooring at home and whatever is used for hospital corridors. They were a perfect tight fit (had to lean hard on the crutch to force them on...) but it was easy to do. They have a metal plate inside to stop the end of a metal crutch cutting through them over time. I would recommend not waiting till the originals wear out - these are much better.

Very thick, they will last for ages. Very good value for money.

My husband has a walking stick which he uses all the time. He had been buying normal rubber ferrules but these seemed to wear out very quickly and he was having to replace them frequently. I bought these because they were described as heavy duty and they do look and feel much sturdier than the ferrules he had brought previously. There is a metal washer inside the ferrules which makes them stronger and hopefully more hard wearing. My husband is pleased with them. Time will tell how long these last but so far the signs are good. I would also mention that service was very good and the ferrules arrived the day after I ordered them so excellent service overall.

I bought these for my set of walking sticks, which are exactly 19mm in diameter. Two to be used straightaway, and two spares. FIT: They fitted perfectly on my 19mm diameter sticks - a tight squeeze to get them on, but once in place, they stayed put. GRIP: They grip the ground very well, whatever the surface, and the big tread means that they are easy to rinse off under a tap as required when they get muddy. WEAR & TEAR: I don't use my sticks all the time, it's usually on long walks, where the ground slopes downwards, so there hasn't been a lot of wear and tear yet. Having said that, I used them for 3 hours last week, and 3 hours the week before, and there is hardly any sign of wear - see photo. CONCLUSION: Recommended. No complaints - these are definitely fit for purpose.

Bought this item to replace the feet on my wall mounted shower seat. Measured the leg diameter and it seemed these would be suitable. They fitted perfectly and appear very sturdy. They wanted £27 for the actual replacements!! Only used two, so the other set is stored away for either my walking stick or shower seat. Very happy with purchase, prompt delivery too!
