This book and the farm animals one of the same series are the main two books my baby enjoys. The animals are a bit disjointed as they are puppy penguin lion cub elephant and kitten. I prefer cats and dogs to fluffy kittens and puppies for clarity at this age. I also would have preferred to see a male lion with the cubs as they are far easily recognisable for babies. My 8 month old has been enjoying these for a few months already, and I'm pleased with the photograph quality and clear sounds. My daughter does get frustrated that she cannot press the sound areas herself, but she is younger than the targeted age of 3-5 yrs so not surprising. Over all a stimulating book, only short but enough for very young children.

Our little boy loves this book but the buttons are too stiff for him to push, he's 14 months old and pretty good with his fine motor skills, he spends ages trying to push the buttons but gets upset then because his little fingers aren't strong enough

I bought this book like a present for my little grandson.

This book is super cute. My 18 months old loves it. There is also an on off switch at the back which is great.

My 1 yo son loves this book. He can't push the buttons hard enough to make the sounds yet but loves copying the noises when I press it for him and feeling the textures of the animals. I love that all of the pictures are photos of animals and not drawings, so great for learning animals.
