This was a perfect replacement for my Quadra Fire Columbia Bay FS. Installation was a breeze and it works like a champ.

I have purchased several of these fans over the years because I have two Quadra-Fire wood stoves. Every one caused vibration of the side panels and will piss you off in the middle of the night. The fix is. Cut a 2x4 a little longer than the distance between the bottom of the fan housing and the floor. Wedge it in and set a brick on top of the fan housing. That has been the only way to stop the vibration.

Easy to install with no issues

Physical dimension are same as OEM for a perfect fit. It has a ground wire that the original did not have.

We have a quadrifire fireplace/wood stove and the original fans started to make loud noises within 5 years...the fans still worked so we just turned the fan down. Finally 8 years later we go ahead and buy these to replace the original fans. My husband did all the work— he said it was a lot easier than he thought it would be—and now we have a really nice heat/fan output and it’s nice and quiet. We really should’ve replaced the fans many years ago. These worked out perfectly. Highly recommend.

Made as well as original but at a much better price than the dealer could offer me. Quieter than the original also.

Does not fit quadrafire classic bay 1200, blower housing opening to wide, and only has 2 speeds unlike 3 speed of original blower

I have only had this for a few days, and only was able to run it for a few hours. The amperage draw on this is higher than the stock one it is replacing, after a few hours it fried the variable speed manual/auto control box, a $100 fan killed the $300 controller. I did give it 2 stars because it looks like I can take the fans off to get into replace the bearings, I am not 100% sure about that, but hope. I had to buy this one to replace the stock one that was not serviceable. Just be warrened.
