The scripts provided are pretty good, the email ones won't work
Solid little kit. The cables are a big longer than they need to be but that's not an issue, just takes a bit of work to assemble the case. The scripts provided are pretty good, the email ones won't work, though; they send the email when the PIR is activated but it doesn't actually attach the images for some reason, I'll have a proper look at fixing it later. Good solid case and responsive PIR.

Works perfectly and pretty easy to set up and mod the code
Works perfectly and pretty easy to set up and mod the code. As others have said, the Pi3 is a bit of tight fit, but I didn't find it too hard to get it in or out. Great value.

Tiny case
An astonishingly tiny case for the RasPi. A bit fiddly to close with the cables, but very neat and looks professional. My only gripe was working-out where to plug the connections between the PIR sensor and the GPIO pins. I had to look this up elsewhere. Clarification: The manual does show the connections, but what the manual does not show, (or perhaps I didn't notice) the orientation of the GPIO connector, which means there are two possible locations.I found the PIR sensor as wired in the manual does not permit the use of a Real Time Clock (so far as I can tell). I suspect this is easily resolved, but I haven't done-so yet. Obviously, if the RTC is fitted and the PIR connection to GPIO4 were relocated, the programs supplied would need modification to permit this.UpdateProgram does not need Real Time Clock, since time & date are updated from the network. This case is not waterproof (it isn't claimed to be), so it will need protection if used outside.

Too tight to fit 3b pi
I received this box a few days ago but found that it is just too tight a fit for my rasberry pi 3B. I might be possible to fit it in with a lot of effort but I am not prepared to risk breaking the pi board in attempting to do so.My next step is to configure and install the PIR using a standard breadboard. Providing that works I will look at modifying the box, with a file to provide a better internal fit and and widen the external slot to fit in the micro sd card.

Great product, well designed and constructed.
By following carefully the well-written online manual instructions, I had this up and running without any major difficulty. It simply works and the only hiccup I had was not related to the product or the software, it was simply a setting in my Gmail account that needed changing to allow this security camera to connect to the gmail account and send captured photos. Lots of ideas for how this could be used, my plan is as a nature watch camera...although I will need to waterproof/protect it in some way.

SPI Box
A good piece of kit an fairly straight easy to set-up. Mine came with an SD card that was meant to have enable captured images to be mailed out to show image; this aspect of the package was a let down as the card arrived with a script that did not work for the email function. Communication with the vendor was not good so basically, whilst the case is good and the SD card works as far as capturing the image and has a good quality PIR, this exceptionally good product was let down by poor communication and a badly pre-configured SD card.

Excellent product
Nicely made, good fit for the Pi 3 (tight, but good). Good instructions. The scripts were a good starting point for my project (I wanted to log movements instead of taking pictures, and mail the log file). Great value, fast delivery; recommended.

A good product with a few minor niggles
The box feels good quality with all the ports labelled on the box EXCEPT the holes for the supplied PIR sensor (See picture for what they should be labelled). The box is a very tight fit on a Raspberry pi, my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ had some left over board joining material on it that needed removing to make it fit the box.The screw slots on the back for mounting the box seemed very small and I could not find a screw to fit and there were no details on what screws they would fit.Having screw slot like this seems designed for mounting flat against a surface but the end device is most likely not going to be mounted flat on something, thus it would be better if the box also had a standard tripod mount screw thread in it or for a "starter kit" to come with a mount that had an adjustable ball pivot. In the end I ground down an M4 pan head bolt to fit the slot, but using the slots meant some of the metal of the bolt was too close to the Raspberry Pi circuitry for my liking, but some insulation take fixed that. The leaflet included points you to a website that does not exist for the instructions but a quick google finds the product website under a different URL and finds the github pages for the scripts and instructions. The scripts are very basic and did not provide the functionality I wanted from the project so I wrote my own for 24x7 recording with PIR notification by email

Prodotto valido se non fosse per la impossibilità di fissare la telecamera ( il buco per l'obiettivo non corrisponde ) ho già 2 spybox stesso problema .

Good case if you want to hack/mod it even further
Brought this for Rs. 250 end of October. Was shocked to see the price being displayed as Rs. 3043 in just 20 days. Good fit, for the Pi, nice plastic material in case you are thinking of modifying this case.
