I was pleasantly surprised - this is reasonably well made and it actually fits well and looks good. It isn't the sort of hat you'd wear at a wedding but as a daily sun hat it certainly does the job. It has a very useful tie under the chin which may seem pointless, but it stops you constantly hanging on to the brim in windy weather - and it doesn't take much wind to blow my hat off.The colour is representative - a neutral cream/sand/taupe, and the fabric is plain cotton. There is a wire sewn in to the edge of the brim which means you can shape it to your liking, but does mean you can't really fold it in half. But it will pack flat.Arrived rather creased, but you could iron it if that bothered you.

This hat is complete sun block just what I needed.Very stylish and the fitting was perfect and true to size (M) The added bonus was the wide rim around the hat gives your neck protection too

Adjustable head widths with clever pull strings inside the hat as well as a handy chin strap in case there are strong winds/ wide brim with sun protection and the brim is also wired so makes it easier to reshape.

Didn't get to use this as there wasn't too much sun but will definitely use it in the Caribbean as I suffer from hyperhidrosis.

My migraine is triggered by strong sunlight and my face and hands break out in rashes from the UV rays. Though the hat can't prevent those, it has been useful to a great extent!Looks lovely, comfortable fit, easier to carry and also easier than carrying an umbrella. Last time strong winds broke off my really good UV umbrella. This hat has strings that holds it in place even during winds. Love it!

This is an excellent practical sun hat, rather than a fashion statement. The wide brim gives 360 degree shade. The fit can be adjusted with the internal tie and the removable chin strap will keep it in place in a gale. The brim can be turned up to change to a more racy look and the whole thing can be rolled up or folded for stowing away. Highly recommended.
