wish we'd had this before purchasing a load we paid and stacked for ("dry). It had 25% moisture). We purchased this because we needed to have a way to test the wood before someone brought wood, stacked it, and money changed hands. This is the 2nd time in 30 yrs that I had a seller outright lie about the moisture of the wood. It's frustrating. So now we can go check the wood before the seller delivers it to our house.

Nice equipment and useful set irks well

As someone who does a goid deal if exterior panting on various wood surfaces I appreciate the ease of use and accuracy. Nothing worse than painting wood with a moisture conten that is too high and having the paint fail and peel.

I wanted a small meter with forks not too widely spaced. I chose this meter for that reason plus it was a low price. I was pleasantly surprised by the superb build quality, simple controls and backlit display!It works perfectly for my needs and now I can easily and accurately measure flowers for the ideal dryness level!

Very affordable and works well just remember that there are different sittings for different types of wood to get a accurate reading and those are listed in the instructions provided. Would buy again
