Description
Double bill of feature-length spin-offs of the Channel 4 sitcom following the life of socially awkward suburban teenager Will (Simon Bird) and three of his friends. 'The Inbetweeners Movie 1' (2011) follows 18-year-old Will and his schoolmates, Neil (Blake Harrison), Simon (Joe Thomas) and Jay (James Buckley), as they take off on a lads' holiday to Malia in Crete, where they go through all kinds of eye-opening and embarrassing rites of passage. In 'The Inbetweeners Movie 2' (2014), Will, Neil and Simon travel to Australia to reunite with Jay who is down under for a gap year. Will this holiday fare better than their last?

Excellent Double Bill - Does The Series Proud!
This two pack is excellent value, both films come in plastic Amaray cases and contains four discs in total.The Inbetweeners Movie contains the blu ray (extended cut) DVD (extended cut) and disc of special features.The second film film is on one disc.Both films, considering they are big screen spin offs of an excellent TV series, are mostly successful.The Inbetweeners 2 was the most I have laughed at a film in quite some time. The first film is also solid, but (like a lot of comedies) the laughs do dry up a bit on repeat viewing.Sound and picture quality are very good, but neither are the type of film to 'show off' you're Blu Ray players capabilities.Bonus features add up to approx 2 hours per film, including commentaries, deleted scenes, outtakes and behind the scenes footage.One thing I did notice that didn't bother me but will bother some - the first film is a 'Triple Play' set but the digital copy expired at the end of 2012!

2 of the 3 discs would not play on an American Blu-Ray player
The Inbetweeners 2 disc played fine, but the original and superior Inbetweeners Movie did would not play. Also, the included special features disc would not play due to apparent geographic restrictions.

Not listed in the description, these are region locked Blu Rays, as well as even the extra content DVD, to UK/Europe. Unusable in the USA unfortunately. Shame, the movies themselves are great, I was attempting to buy these since they are no longer available in the USA via Net_flix. If only there were some way to overcome this atrocity.Or spend several hundred dollars on a region-less Blu-Ray/DVD player.
