Fantastic, inexpensive, solution!
Worked great! I had my highlift in the hood. Hated it there, too easy to dent the hood when removing. I thought about the tailgate but I have an upgraded tailgate hinge. The other is a side mount by the front or passenger door. Not practical when trying to open the door all the way.This solution was fantastic for me and extremely easy to install. After trial and error, I found the perfect place on my front tube.

Works exactly as expected
Works exactly as expected! Easy to mount and very sturdy. I really expected it to move, but after about 60 miles of washboard dirt roads in SW Texas as well as several off-road 4wheel drive trails through Big Bend State Park it really has held up very well. Would recommend.

It's a win for a Hi-Lift jack
I bought these to secure my Hi-Lift jack to the swing out tire carrier on my VW Vanagon. It fit the Van Cafe carrier perfectly. The jack has not moved at all. Super easy to install and everything you need to install is included.

It holds well
The media could not be loaded. Functionally has exceeded my expectations. There is no wobble or play. Once tightened it cannot be tightened anymore and had not come loose in any way for almost 2 months. The minus star is from the paint degrading rapidly.
