Great charcoal pencils
These lay down a perfect amount of pigment and are easily controlled by applying more or less pressure. They retain their sharpness, and don't break or crumble like some other white charcoal pencils I've tried.Overall, I would recommend these, and I'll certainly be buying them again.

Fabulous and white - great for highlights
Great for highlights, but couldnt get it to go over the top of other pencil crayon very well, not tried them with pastels as yet, which is what a I bought them for, but were highly recommended by a brilliant chalk pastel artist, with a spray of fixative on pastels first

Generals white charcoal pencils
Bought these on a recommendation to complete a portrait. They worked well for what I needed, slightly harder that I was used to. Very good for precision.

great pencils really Smooth the reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 isbecause pencil sharpener just keeps chewing it up so i use a craft knife.

Great for drawing mandala grids
I am so pleased with these pencils. I do a lot of artwork that is white on black ink or brown kraft card and these are great for drawing grids and planning out the artwork when normal pencil wont show up. I was worried I wouldn't be able to erase the lines but they actually rub out really easily. I am in the UK and they came from the USA so it takes a while but worth it.
