A direct replacement for my original. Works perfectly. Not much else to say other than I should have got this months ago instead of fighting with sticking buttons on my original.

Although this remote control has "RM-109U" printed on it (which is what I need for my Humax box), I was surprised, when I opened the packaging, to see that it came with instructions marked "setting the universal remote control". Indeed this is a universal remote control, not one dedicated to the Humax as I was led to believe by the advert. Unfortunately the original unit had a fault, every so often it went mad and flashed the PVR button (without me touching it). If the Humax box was in line of sight when this happened it turned it off!However, I contacted the seller (Retrosun) who immediately sent me a replacement which works perfectly. I am now very happy with this purchase, and thank you to the seller for being so helpful.

This is not suitable for purpose. The STB Button is called PVR and every time you attempt to use this button it sticks inside the main unit - there is no button to access your recordings, it feels cheap and nasty. It does send the volume up and down and I can speed on or reverse what is being viewed. However after an evening with it, it is now in the bin. Complete waste of money. Be careful if you consider buying this it is not a replacement for the Humax and I can only assume it is a foreign import which is not worth a second look

I found it good value I paid 3 times as much for an original and it lasted a year so I paid a small price for this one and it works.

Overall ok but then realised pause button didn’t work. As this is a feature I use a lot I should have returned. Ok as spare for partner for volume and changing channels

The original Humax Freeview remote is on the left in my pics. This new cloned one is on the right.The handset works after fitting a couple of AAA batteries (not supplied). It controls my Humax HDR 2000T in the lounge and my HDR 1800T in the bedroom. It also controls my 2 Panasonic TVs after programming the Panasonic code 129 in (very easy). The full TV codes list and programming instructions are supplied.The finish on the moulding is a kind of Matte fine texture. As compared to the Humax original which is of a high piano black gloss finish. The buttons are all of the rubber buttons style and the printing on them is adequate but not as high quality as the original. I hope the buttons printing does not wear off with use but that remains to be seen. So there are some slight style differences between the two but all the buttons work and the operating control range seems fine. It represents good value and is a much cheaper than buying a new replacement handset from Humax. How long it lasts remains to be seen over time and general wear and tear. I would buy it again if I need another replacement I like that it doesn’t pretend to be a genuine original handset. It is clearly a cloned copy, but it works ok so why not.

I ordered this as a replacement remote for our Humax HDR1100s Freesat unit.The HDR1100s was not listed as compatible, but it is.Other than the branding this remote looks exactly the same as the original Humax remote.Simply pop in 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied) and away you go. Initially my partner stated that the remote wasn’t working but she hadn’t pressed the PVR button so that the remote was sending it’s signal to our freeview box!The remote has worked perfectly well and there has been no loss of function, we can still perform every function that we could on the original remote, including accessing and playing recorded programmes.Other than the branding the only difference we have noticed is that this new replacement remote is lighter than the last one, but that’s no complaint, just an observation.I would definitely recommend this remote control
