Thinkware Hardwire Installation Cable

Arrived on time. Easy to install to the car and camera and solved the issue of the camera draining the car battery if the car wasn't used for a few days (plugged into the 12v outlet so taking a permanent power feed).

Works perfectly. Slightly expensive.

This product did not work because one of the wires is intermittantly open circuit. I went through all the complex hassle of installing this cable in my car, which took several days on and off, only to find it didn't work the day after the return window closed. Checked it with the meter and the red wire is open circuit. If you buy one of these check it works before installing it!

Easy to install and work perfectly for my Thinkware F750 dash cam.

Sold my car took my U1000 out. Left loom in. Brought this fitter fitted to new car, couldn’t find loom any cheaper else where.

Very cheap cable and the product is listed as 4 meters, when it arrived it was less than 3meters. I am very disappointed in the cable since for just a cable it is very expensive.So that aside this cable is rated at 600V yet the power etc is rated at 300v, to make this cable yourself you are looking at around £5 yet the price of this is several times more.

Perfect, works as described and easy enough to install. Not much more to say really - it powers the thinkware dashcam direct from fusebox and goes into sleep/wake mode depending on the car state

Let's start with the fundamentals. I had to buy a replacement hardwire kit for my Thinkware F750 dash camera as the original was faulty. The U.K. distributor was not particularly knowledgeable nor that helpful. A free replacement was not forthcoming.This additional hardwire kit has been advertised as 4M long, 500mm long, and 16' long. All are incorrect. The measured length is 2.9M and is barely long enough to get to the B-pillar - this is effectively useless if, like me, you drive a BMW which has the battery in the boot. Further extension wiring is therefore required.At £20 the product is over-priced but the jack appears to be proprietary and therefore not available elsewhere. If it wasn't a must-have I wouldn't buy again.
