Faithfull FPPPLUG13R Black Plastic Plug 230V 13A

I needed a plug, i ordered one and this turned up. Easy to wire up, card insert showing wiring, the screw heads seem to be of reasonable quality, no problems there, plastic wire support included although my two core wire was a lot smaller than the support - overall a nice little plug that did the job well. Price is comparable to our local Tesco, delivery was next day so all in all I have to give Amazon full marks.

Good value for a straightforward plug. Seems well made and does the job fine. Mot much else to say except that I would buy it again.

As a plug it fulfils its description. It seems well made, if out of fairly cheap material. The description is a bit wide of the mark though, it's nylon/plastic, not rubber & I wouldn't call it heavy duty at all. The price was fair enough considering I could have it delivered within hours of ordering, with Prime, saving me the time & trouble of driving into town, parking, going to the hardware shop - which may or may not have it on the shelf. And with supermarkets no longer selling plugs buying online makes life a lot easier. So, for light duty home use It's great. I wouldn't put it on, say, power tools being used in the workshop for example, or anywhere it's likely to get rough use. The one thing that did irritate me was the use of non-peelable labels. The barcode & serial numbers were stuck on labels which would not come off cleanly, necessitating a fiddly clean up with surgical spirit to remove all the residue.

Reasonably priced UK 3-pin plugs with a 13A fuse.Easy to fit and they are very robust.

Well made easy to use 3 pin UK specification 240 volt mains plug in black , I liked the cable relief feature but I needed to use some heat shrink to increase the diameter of some 5 mm 3 core cable slightly. I needed to swap the fuse for a 3 amp one... just a thought it would be handy if plugs were supplied with 3, 5 and 13 amp fuses ....

It is a plug and it works however opening it to wire it was a nightmare! I couldn’t get some of the screws loosened to come out. In the end I had to remove the part with the offending screw and soak it in olive oil, which did the trick. It is now a fully operational plug.

What can I say? - It's a plug! I have recently extended the mains lead on a piece of equipment and used black cable for this purpose. It just didn't seem right to use a white plug. Perfectly functional item. You could probably buy this cheaper in Proper Job or similar, but for ease and convenience I used Amazon. Very happy with this purchase.
