I bought this to replace another retractable canopy. The other canopy that had to be replaced did not have grommets on the sides so every time it rained, there was water pooling. This canopy gives you the necessary tools to keep the canopy taut. Water passes through it. It is durable, protects against UV rays, but also provides shade, which makes it feel cooler when underneath it. It is good price too!

The fabric and binding are good quality, it filters the light perfectly and keeps our pergola cooler. However, we ordered a custom size and it came too small. We needed 9’x18” and the actual measurement we received was 8’9”x17’6” It does not align with the boards over our pergola and actually snapped two of the boards from thetension we were using to make it fit. :(Edit:Returned the original shade panel for the correct size and we are very happy with it. It looks nice and does a wonderful job providing shade and lowering the temperature underneath the pergola.

The sun hits one side but now with this product we have shade and privacy. Easy to install and it's made well. It comes with options to secure it.It has rope, plastic zip ties and bungee chords. The grommets are a good quality made well to keep this product secure on a windy day.I am a verified customer and would most definitely purchase this product again. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Love this new shade for our back yard area. Allows just enough light. Several options for installation which was handy. The price point was fair for the product. We will see how many seasons we get out of it. Previously we used black out curtains(repurposed what we had on hand) would recommend. I made a shade cover holder in my raised bed garden and this works perfectly. Well made and the grommets are in teh perfect position. Been outside for some time in the hot Florida sun and is holding up well.

I am using the blue grey because it matches the decor of my porch. If you want shade and privacy, this shade cloth is fantastic! I used heavy-duty tension rods, top and bottom, to hang them between aluminum struts that hold screen material. They are hung loosely to blow with the wind. I can't say enough good things about them! Installation was a cinch, by the way. Plenty of hanging options are included. I used bungees.
