Very impressive for the money.
First one was snapped off 6" from tip, replacement was easy. Second one, was not damaged and casts really nice . Throwing unweighted 8" worms and chatter baits, both cast great with this rod.

Pretty Darn Good Rod
I’m pleased with this rod, I fish a lot in Idaho for bass and we don’t have a ton of cover to worry about. I paired this with an older Lews speed spool and 12lb test and use it as my top water rod and it does a great job. Feel light in your hand and is fairly sensitive for a inexpensive rod. I would buy another for sure! The guys complaining about bad craftsmanship should take a better look at the packaging, mine wasn’t packaged well and it snapped literally the first cast.

Lews Speedstick 7' fast speed
Extremely light and perfect tly balanced. Well built and really extended my casting range. Only problem is Amazon sent it USPS and the length would not allow rod to be delivered to my residence. Needs to ship FedEx or UPS. It's a good 15 miles from my home to post office. Otherwise, I'll probably purchase a couple more in the near future.

Came with end eye broken off.
Came in a standard box. Protection for Rod was folded over cardboard stapled. Open to staples. The end of the rod was completely snapped off. Cannot find the end so assuming it was shipped like that.

Not a spin casting rod!
Be aware that even though the pictures on the listing show a spin casting setup, this rod is made for a bait casting reel with the reel and the small guides on the top of the rod.

This rod is a solid pick up for a budget rod and can’t beat the price for what you get. Buy it if you want a good all around rod.
