If you have a staffie, these don’t really work 🤔Got our curtain today and fitted it really quickly. Only reason I haven’t given 6 stars (bearing in mind that amazon only let you rate out of 5 stars) is because our pampered little staffie didn’t like it and ripped it down in the first hour of it being installed.TBH, I thought the quality was really good, and the adhesive on the fixings was strong..... but not staffie strong.The magnetic closures worked really well when I walked out of the door, they quickly closed behind me and stopped all those little midges and flies from entering the house. But then Enzo decided to come through them and, well, the curtain is no more.So, if you want to keep midges and flies out of your house, this is an amazing purchase. If you want to keep staffie out, buy a steel door

Fitted the door ok but not enough fixings for the size. Not that sturdy my cat has managed to put a hole in one side

I sent this item back. I thought it would be an excellent product as I have purchased from Spear and Jackson before. When it arrived I was very disappointed to say the least, poor quality netting, heavy cumbersome magnets, and did not hang well. Sorry S&P but not any where near your usual standard of products.

Easy to fit, easy to use - but the velco supplied is pretty low quality - had to replace with some of my own. And now the curtain is beginning to fray around the top after only a month's use. Don't see it lasting the summer... still, at the price I suppose it's worth it to keep the flies out!

much bigger than the standard size exterior door, the sticky pads don’t stick to pvc door frames, the net started to fray & rip, where the Velcro is attached, after a week or so. Lasted about 4 weeks In total before it completely ripped an I put it in the bin.

Great item, easy to put up and sturdy enough if you don't go crazy. Magnets work well and yes it keeps the flies out.. dogs can go in/out safely enough whilst it is in place. Purchasing a few more.

So good being able to leave my door open in this hot weather and keep all the flies etc out. Velcro pads don't stick to well to the curtain and regularly have to restock. I sewed the top over so I could put it on a door pole which is better for keeping it up but this was very simple to do. Well worth getting.

I wasn't expecting great things from this to be honest...the majority of reviews weren't brilliant...however, it was a late night, wine-fuelled purchase after getting annoyed with the horrible bugs dive-bombing me in my lit up living room! Well, it's just been put up and it's actually really good! Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure it'll last forever but, with two of us and a logical approach, it went up quite easily (join the two halves together by the magnets first, each hold in place a side then keep one half in the place you want, the other person discarding the other side...stick in place, then rejoin magnets together and stick up second half.) I'm not a huge fan of the black against my white pvc frame... the velcro pads are also black so when we take it off in the winter, the black pads might be a bit glaring (there may be a white version but I was too impulsive to look!)....however, the complaints I've read generally are that they are not sticky enough and it pulls itself down. I did not find this to be the case at all...they are way stronger than, say, ordinary double sided tape and so far so good! We shall see how long it lasts but for now, I'm enjoying the freedom of having door open, lights on and NO BUGS!!! 👍
