Works as advertised.
I bought this to attach to my Costco DeLonghi portable A/C unit. I wasn't sure that it would fit, but it did (just barely). I have a large bedroom with upstairs loft and needed to focus the A/C in one area. This extension hose allowed me to do that.

Hose the gutters
I bought a dryer hose for our gutter to drain. We went to Lowe’s and the gutter hose was too small. We noticed our neighbor using a dryer hose. Works great.

Sturdy Enough For Hard to Maintain & Reach Areas
We used this for some severe bend and hard to access areas of our heater ducting. It required severe bends, pulling, twisting and forcing into position areas. The standard aluminum foil ducting was the factory installed type and well it failed we didn't want another failure anytime soon so glad we went with this. Didn't tear anything in all the aggressive placement. I will say that it is an absolute pain to attach it to splitters, or vents there is little to no stretch so it takes some finess and prayer to attach. That being said zero regrets.

Don’t buy it!!!!
The tight belts don’t work at all. Not recommended. I had to use a lot of foil tape to hold it in place.

It says 5” but it is 8” and will not compress
I mouth this for a 6” fan outlet. Hoping to stretch the 5” over the 6” lip. Turns out the opening is 8” and will not compress down to 7”. Won’t compress down to 6”.Otherwise the material is very sturdy and would be great for any air transfer. I would return it but while trying to compress with the clamps the inside surface came apart.

Step up from the standard aluminum
Very nice finish. Looks so much better than std aluminum

Not as tough as I expected
Lol it's been trashed but it tore at the seam. I probably could have clipped it off an still used it but I needed the length I bought. The price wasn't worth the return. But if you're looking for something stronger, look elsewhere, otherwise your just buying the same regular degular just a different color.

This vent has ripped on me numerous times, frustrating to deal with duct taping every time.
