These Serving Tongs by Tcoin are the right length, they look nice, and they are good tongs for light-weight foods like cheese cubes, tapenade, and olives. The holes in the end of the tongs make them especially useful for grabbing small hors d'oeuvres out of liquids like olives or jalapeno peppers. The metal of the tongs are a little thinner than some other brands so when trying to lift a little heavier foods, they slip "off-center" so the tongs do not close evenly. I cleaned the tongs in the dishwasher and they still look nice. I would buy these again with the understanding that they are for lighter weight foods.
