yes. I have both rain defender & lightweight in the same size. They fit the sane- perfectly.

My husband is short what size recomend

If he is heavy set and wide shouldered I recommend a Lg or XL . This sweatshirt is long the larger the size you get. My husband is 6' and 250. He wears a 2XL in this. He wears these all the time for work.
