Is this effective on old scars? Not so hopeful with ones which are 10 years old but 1 year or so...

Hi PDH, yes our customers have found this oil to be helpful on scars that are one year old or so, the product has a unique blend including Sacha Inchi, Rosehip Oil, Avocado Oil and is packed with Vitamin E and antioxidants, all great for skin-healing and reducing inflammation and redness. Please also look at some of the other reviews where people have shared success stories about their scars. It works for the breast stretch marks?

Hello Vali, this is Hannah from Botanico Vida, thank you for asking the question. Our clinical trials of Omega Oil were on women with abdominal stretch marks. However the skin on the breast is likely to respond to the active ingredients in Omega oil in a similar way to that of the abdomen. 63% of women said that using Botanico Vida helped to improve the appearance of their stretch marks. Please note that if the stretch marks are very well established and silvery then I am afraid that you cannot expect to see a big difference from using any oils or other topical treatments on the market. Does it work really need my stretch marks gone

Hi Kerry, this is Hannah from Botanico Vida. We are are commited to being honest with our customers so I wanted to post a response to this question. The leading skincare testing laboratory in the UK (Cutest Limited) trialed Omega Oil on women with existing abdominal stretch marks. After 12 weeks 63% of the women said that they saw an improvement in the appearance of their stretch marks. Flowers and Petals suggests that you try Bio Oil in her post. I had a look at their website, where they show data for tests of Bio Oil on abdominal stretch marks which resulted in only 50% of subjects seeing an improvement. They have since done more tests, with varying results, on different parameters, but not on abdominal stretch marks. We always recommend that prevention is better than cure, and if your stretch marks are long-established, at the silvery stage, or very pronounced then they are unlikely to be removed with oils or creams alone, whatever claims they make. Bio Oil is very different to Omega Oil because its primary ingredient is mineral oil, a petroleum derived filler that creates a barrier on the skin rather than absorbing. Omega Oil actually absorbs into the skin, full of nutrients and essential fatty acids to help rejuvenate and repair.
