FREESOO Car Steering Wheel Lock Auto Anti-theft Twin Hook Crook Lock with Safety Hammer

I'm very impressed with this. I was having trouble finding a steering wheel lock that would fit my Toyota CHR due to the curve in the centre of the steering wheel. I'd bought other locks of varying prices and all had to be returned. This was my final attempt and thankfully, it was perfect. It's weighty, sturdy and looks the part. It's a good deterrent.A little advice though:Although the picture shows the lock pictured at the top of the steering wheel, from what I can ascertain, you're actually supposed to have the wheel turned slightly and "on lock". This prevents the steering wheel from being able to be moved at all with the steering wheel lock in place. If you have it on the top as pictured and the steering wheel is not on lock, a thief who gains access to your car with keyless entry is still going to be able to move the wheel somewhat- enough to get it off a driveway at least.

Would have given 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the item isn’t quite big enough to obtain a tight fit on the steering wheel rim. It’s a Fiat DUCATO. Having said that it will be impossible to remove without making the horn go off. So as it’s a supplement to the immobiliser on the vehicle it’s an added noise for a potential thief to deal with.

Getting on steering wheel was easy.But getting of wheel was not easy.Put key in to turn lock But could not move the lock..Tried other key.Just the same.Looked on utube and and saw someone using WD forty .Thats what I had to do.Once I got it of I could put more WD in lock..I will use a few times .If it does not improve.I will send it back

I returned the item, without any difficulty, because it did not properly fit the steering wheel. The problem was the jaws were too narrow to fit over the spokes of my steering wheel. Would suggest that anyone intending to purchase one to check the measurements especially if the spokes are angled. Overall though the item appeared to be well made, can't understand where the 'handbrake gear lock' comes in though.

This appears to be a well constructed lock. However it will not clamp tightly to the steering wheel and if it did it would mark the steering wheel (mine is soft leather) Consequently because it is floppy when locked on it slips along the circumference of the steering wheel permitting the wheel to be turned. In addition it allows the "longarm" to flip/spin back towards the driver and rest on the front face of the steering wheel. I am vey practically minded and adept but cannot get this product to do its job. Returned.

Car steering lock great product well designed easy to store in the car when not in use light weight easy to fix to the wheel good anti theft deterrent. I can not fault this product it also gives protection to the steering wheel and dashboard when in situ. For me Monet very well spent.

bought this steering wheel lock for my 2018 citroen c3 aircross fits perfectly over buttons on steering wheel very satisfied almost like it was made for my car. having stop/start keyless ignition needed some extra deterent against car theft.
