Top class attachment for ladder. Very secure. Does increase the footprint where the ladder sits on the wall. Can be used on corner too.

Great quality and very stable. I did struggle a bit with the instructions but worked it out eventually.

Replaces one I loaned out and never got back. Delivery was prompt, in a predictably huge cardboard box (how do you ship one of these otherwise??). This is good and strong and well made, with Nyloc nuts used on all the bolts to keep them tight and safe. I have already found the V-notch useful, both around a drainpipe and on the corner of the property. The only reason it didn't merit five stars immediately, is that it arrived with some sharp corners from where the aluminium bar had been guillotined. It took about five minutes with a file to clean it up, and honestly, for the price I'm probably being a bit mean. I did a fair bit of searching, and this is by far the best value standoff I could find.

I received this standoff yesterday and cleaned my guttering and second floor windows today. I hate heights but have braved cleaning the windows a few times a year. However because of the overhanging fascia I've not had the courage to clear the guttering for many years. Today I did and it was made so much easier with this standoff. I was able to get past the fascia and look along the length of the gutter and move the ladder every yard or so to clean it out. This tool is strong, well made and easy to fit. As others have said, you may need to squash the U pieces that fit onto the rungs as they're obviously made large enough to fit a range of different sized ladders. The spring which holds it onto the ladder seems to be strong enough to me. All in all a bargain for anyone who does climb a ladder but wishes they didn't have to. I did feel so much safer up there than usual. So a great buy at a bargain price. Highly recommended.

Well made, feels sturdy / safe when used. Stand-off enabled me to clean the soffits and gutters myself.

I used the standoff to replace a section of guttering at the top of my house which was leaking. I had previously done a temporary repair in the past but it was awkward because I was right up against the gutter and had little room to work. It was the best I could do at the time. At first I thought about hiring scaffolding but the cost was prohibitive. A standoff was recommended to me by a neighbour and he offered to lend me one but I decided to purchase one as the price was reasonable and I could do the work at my own convenience. Assembly was straightforward after watching a Utube video from the same company. When I attached this to the ladder I was able to position the ladder so that I was directly above the gutter. It made the work much easier and gave the ladder so much stability (note that I did properly secure the bottom of the ladder) I felt safe enough to use both hands to detach the old section of gutter, which was too short, with a new section of gutter of the correct length with new rubber seals. I was also able to put a new bracket near the top of the downpipe to give the downpipe extra stability during heavy winds. So it made an awkward job and potentially dangerous one into an easier, safer task as well as saving me money. If you have not got one and use a ladder from time to time, as I do, then it is a good buy at a competitive price.

Very light and easy to put together. The standoff is solid but light when installed on the ladder and has made a huge difference to stability when cleaning the gutters. Also because it keeps you further away from the wall when at height you feel more confident as you are not leaning back so much to reach in the gutters. It fits nicely around the downpipe with the 'V' shape at the back allowing you to get closer to a downpipe etc. Overall this is a really great product and wish I had bought one many years ago.

This is a great piece of kit, particularly for safely bridging downpipes. It will also locate safely on corners but I would have preferred the anti-slip rubber to continue onto those angled facings. The locking hook is not as wide as the rungs on my ladder and would look safer if it was but I managed to spread the hook wider apart so that it stays secure. It would also be easy enough to tie something around the hook once it is in position to make absolutely sure that it would not come off. Overall, a great piece of kit.

L'ho acquistato da un po' ma l'ho usato solo ieri. È comodissimo e si presta a parecchie modifiche, ho aggiunto delle scatole porta utensili e dell'isolante di Spugna xkè la plastica nera sporca un po le pareti. Nel complesso ottimo prodotto x lavori idraulici professionali! Mai più su e giù dalla scala 1000 volte! Consigliatissimo

Die Leiterhalterung hat voll meine vorstellung getroffen, passt auf die Leiter und sorgt für einen sicheren Halt auf dreizehn Meter. So habe ich mir das beim Kauf gedacht . Ein Superteil.

Bien conçu, bien construit, léger... S'installe en quelques secondes. Enfin possible l'accès à des gouttières nantaises placées à deux rangs d'ardoises de la rive. Deux manchons d'isolation tuyaux chauffages ajoutés pour amortir encore l'appui s'il en est besoin et c'est parfait... Vu le problème résolu: indispensable...

Este es un gadget muy util, lo uso todo el tiempo, te da espacio para trabajar y es muy seguro.

Excellent produit, cet écarteur de mur installé sur l'échelle est très bien conçu, il m'évite maintenant de faire pression sur mes gouttières. Emballage parfait et surtout solide, installation facile, l'idéal quoi ! La livraison dans les temps. Avec mes remerciements CBF
