Very tasty

Unlike other customer reviews, mine had a lid and was sealed. Great coffee, nice and fresh, good strength for latte, expresso and flat whites. I reuse the tins for storing buttons, nails, artists paints and cake food coloring so if one leaks, its in the tin. Smooth coffee, now my prefered brand. Tins work well and they can be recycled and used to buy the coffee in packets or somewhere to put ground coffee from their beans. Value for money when on offer

I decided to try this illy coffee because I wanted a cup that still felt rich and full bodied even though it’s caffeine free. The 250g tin is a handy size and knowing it’s made from 100 percent Arabica beans and a medium roast gave me hope for something decent. The first few brews hit nicely smooth rounded flavour with hints of caramel and a clean finish that left nothing bitter in the cup. The taste profile includes caramel, chocolate and toasted bread with a sweet aftertaste and on my espresso machine that came through quite well.What I particularly liked is that it gave me something closer to proper coffee even though it’s decaf. It held up well as a plain espresso and felt just right when I had it with a splash of milk. On the other hand it’s not completely flawless. If you compare it side by side with a freshly roasted caffeinated specialty bean you will notice it lacks a little of the brightness or depth you sometimes get with premium roasts. Also because it comes pre ground, it doesn’t give you the same freshness you’d get by grinding beans yourself. That being said for the convenience and quality you’re getting, I think it delivers very well and would recommend this.

Excellent coffee

I make this with my Delonghi Dedica espresso machine, and I drink it daily after lunch. I normally have three coffees a day (two caffeinated in the morning, one after lunch), but the afternoon caffeine was disrupting my sleep, so I decided to try decaf. Honestly, I was sceptical about the taste, but Illy hasn't disappointed.It delivers that proper Italian espresso flavour: smooth, medium strength, rich without being too bitter (Intensity 5/9). The taste is slightly lighter and less dense than my morning caffeinated espresso, but it's still genuinely good. No weird "decaf" aftertaste or flatness. The crema is great: visually you can't tell the difference between this and my caffeinated espresso.Not for everyone though: if you prefer light roasts and their brighter, acidic taste, or floral/fruity notes, this won't be your thing. It's more traditional, classic espresso profile.Practical side: the grind works well in my Dedica, no clogging or mess. The tin keeps it fresh for weeks, and it's become my reliable afternoon ritual.Bottom line: if you want proper-tasting Italian espresso without the afternoon caffeine hit, this delivers. Great value for money too: Amazon usually has the best price compared to supermarkets.

Not the best. Acidic flavour. Coffee is very fine so it will over pour in an espresso machine from the water pressure. Pack lightly. Nutty aroma but I wouldn’t purchase again. The tin is great for my coffee beans though! Open with care. apparently others have had it explode?? Just follow the instructions on the lid inside.

Tasty and like the advert states decaf coffee obviously you make it how you like it, it was to strong for me even adding in a little coffee, however it wasnt for me but my brother who loved it!

Great taste without caffeine.

コーヒーが大好きでよく飲みますが、妊娠してからは、カフェインは控えようと、こちらを飲んでいました。ノンカフェインのほかのコーヒーもいくつか試しましたが、濃いコーヒーが好きな私にはこちらが一番のお気に入りでした。今後、ノンカフェインのコーヒーを尋ねられることがあればこちらをおすすめしたいと思います。
