Jokes aside, this product works great. It's super simple to fit and looks fine. It is plastic so be careful not to overtighten screws! I have some nasty old bolts through the door which did foul the opening of the flap a little but I just loosened the top screws off a bit to give it room. I also had to refit the brushes but only to straighten a small group of hairs that were caught in the mechanism. It was purely cosmetic but you want it to look nice.

They do look great now that they are fitted but I wouldn't expect them to last very long as they are rather flimsy.

We've had this letterbox draught excluder for about three months now, and overall, it's proven to be a great value for the price. Initially, I wasn’t sure how long it would last, especially since it didn’t seem the most sturdy—particularly the inner flap, which looked flimsy. However, it’s held up surprisingly well. There’s been no major issues, though the postman does occasionally struggle with bulky mail because of the slight restriction caused by the inner flap. Despite that, it’s been a solid purchase so far!

Brilliant product

Looked good, easy to install. Flap part of it came off within days, unable to reattach.

Draughtiest part of the house is the front door area leading to many a blast of freezing cold air getting into the living room, even with heavy cotton door curtains. This has gone some way to reducing the draught. Did have to make a slight adjustment by putting slim panels of ply under it so that the letterbox bolt fittings didn't keep it slightly open which worked a treat.
