Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend 2.3 oz (65g)

After disappearing down a late night rabbit hole of low-carb diet things on Instagram. I kept seeing lots of 'recipes' (the quotes are not a mistake in this case) with bagel seasoning as a way to enliven turgidly dull salads and bland low carb meals. Although shocked by the price, a hungry man on a diet will go a long way to distract himself so I took the plunge and ordered.Good points : It really does a great job in adding flavour and texture to diet stuff. So it does what it's intended to. I've put it on everything from egg, salads, cream cheese, ham, sausages etc. Basically anything I would have previously shoved in a sandwich but am now having without bread I'm drizzling this stuff over, and I'm pleasantly surprised each time.Bad points : Something in this is rock solid, and I keep forgetting about it, so cue a shocked 'have I just cracked a tooth on a tomato ?' every other time.Going back to the price, I understand that anything imported has added expense, but this retails in the us at $1.99/£1.60, so how it's 4 times as much here I don't quite get, even Apple don't gouge that much between the two countries. It's also bizarre that as of the date of this review, buying the twin pack is more expensive than buying two singles.Would I buy it again ? Possibly, but only if I can't work out how to buy the ingredient separately and make my own.

I truly love these as they are sooo great and very tasty and can be added to anything and they full of great flavours and taste amazing :)

If your already looking at this, then this is what your looking for. Add to eggs, grilled cheese, as a condiment in sandwiches, it's GREAT and addictive.

Fabulous on soups, cheese on toast, casseroles almost anything

Average seasoning. Not worth the hype around it. Very strong aftertaste

I bought this as I have to stop eating 'crap food' and this makes things like cucumber with soft cheese way more interesting. It is nice, but I don't think it lived up to the hype abput it as much as Tajin has

Okay, so I bought this to see what the hype was all about, I am glad I bought it BUT i won't buy again, why? well, after finding out that i do like it and now i have a container i can literally buy all the separate ingredients for cheaper and in bigger volume so i would recommend just buying the ingredients and mixing them together, does the same job and you will save like 10 pounds. By once so you get the cute container tho
