Well made, sturdy, colourful and whimsical. I used mine as a vase, used artificial calla lillies which feel and look very real. I also added artificial purple leafy sprays to add a contrast for more colour. I love the look and although I'm not a fan of fake flowers, however no one would ever know they're fake they look and feel so real, I didn't want to risk putting water in the giraffe for real flowers, I'd hate the thought of damaging it.

I live in a rented house decorated with some old fashioned furniture and this is the perfect addition to my fireplace. It adds a touch of quirkiness and fun to my boring living room. I also didn't want to ruin it by filling it with water do I decided to go for fake roses.

I've bought this for a Christmas gift (six months away), but I absolutely love it myself. So much fun, well made, good quality (bearing in mind the cost), and I know the recipient will love it. Please make sure you look at the dimensions, it doesn't deserve the negative reviews be people who haven't checked the dimensions. It's not very big, but will easily hold a small posy of flowers, and look great.
