TASCHEN's Bookstand Misc. Supplies – 5 Aug. 2010

We bought this to display a large photo book. The stand is very good quality, and currently holds a large book. Looks great in the lounge. The price on Amazon was the cheapest I could find.

Having bought a few large format books in the last year found this an ideal way to read while at the same time looking after the condition of the book. Just used some of the foam packing sheet to soften the impact of the ocrners on the book it supports.

If you have a beautiful art or photography book, this is the right way to display it. Definitely designed for larger books, the Perspex is thick and strong. It comes flat and it slots together. That could give the impression it is flimsy (I saw that in another review), however it really is not. I researched a lot of Perspex/ clear book holders before I purchased this and this is the most attractive

The perfect gift, comes flat packed and means I can finally actually turn a page daily in my gorgeous large ‘picture’ books which have been sitting dormant

Top quality, lovely centre piece!

It would be nice but the plastic is so rough and was broken and cracked in multiple places along the joint. Returned it and got a new one that was the same. It's fine - just overpriced for how crappily made it is.
