Not the cheapest but you pay for quality and this is pure quality.
I saw a few like this and some were very cheap but obvious they weren't sturdy and would fall over etc. I've had a play with this and it's solid- the metal adjustable arm is very stable/stiff so will not move once it's all connected. The part that connects to the table etc opens very wide too and again is very secure once tightened. Once attached, it will not move or bend so is perfect.Really looking forward to making some music/guitar videos with this. It's a solid piece of kit and worth every penny. Don't waste money buying the cheap ones, buy this instead and have something that lasts and works perfect.

Works as intended
As an amateur guitarist who posts music covers to YouTube, I was looking for a device that I could attach to the head of my guitar, in order to film my playing. I understand that is not what this device is meant for, but I thought I would give it a try any way. It works to some extent, in the fact that I can attach my Moto G5 Plus and record as I play, but it's really shaky as I move about. When using it for what it is meant for, it works perfectly fine, I can attach it to my bed post and sit there watching movies and TV shows on my phone without having to hold it. The plastic arm is solid and moves into the position you want with a bit of force. The claw to hold the phone has rubber grips to prevent any slipping. To adjust the clamp you simply spin the piece of plastic above it, place it onto the desired surface and then spin it back until tight enough.Overall, I can't complain for the price. 4 stars. Please let me know if this review was helpful by using the button below. Great product and it looks nice too
It is exactly as expected, does a great job with my oversized phone for my webinars and video calls. It holds the phone firmly which is great. I have been using it for a few months and after much use and abuse it is still doing the job as new, I am happy with this one. The curly bit is a tiny bit stiff but it has the right firmness so it dies not collapse under weight, it stays firm and strong, while still flexible to model it into the right position.

Meh..
Its a good product but I'm guessing that based on what you use it for, it might or might not be useful for you. If you want this just to hold your phone, so you can watch videos or whatever than I guess it does the job. I bought this because I wanted to shot some videos with my phone but its wiggling way to much. The stability is really poor, so if you bump into the desk just a bit, it starts to wiggle. For the rest it seems like a good product.. sturdy enough, easy to use and very adjustable. If you need this just to watch videos on your phone, than it's a good buy

Good product
Really happy with the phone stand , good quality construction . My only advice would be when making major changes to the shape it would probably be better to do it when it's unclamped from the table . This is not because it's bad quality but because the clamp is plastic and the arm is metal wire and you have a lot of mechanical leverage over the clamp without necessarily realizing , just be aware.

Very helpful for video calls
I started working from home regularly about a year ago, and I had a lot of video calls - I didn't want my phone down on the desk giving me a terrible angle. I bought this and it was perfect! it's very sturdy and once you have the right angle it works without a problem. I actually have it attached now to the stand of my monitor (not the base, but the thin bit that comes from the base to the monitor) and it means it's always perfect positioned. I have a wallet case on my phone too, but I just fold that up behind my phone and the grip/claw/whatever still holds it. Very happy with it. It is a bit difficult to readjust especially mid call - but with a bit of strength you can get it wherever you want.

Wobbly and bo durable
I've had a few of these, this was the worst I've had. Very unstable and wobbly, The bit that connects to your phone was awkward to use compared with others and it broke after a couple of months. There are better ones out there.

Filming tabletop and easel
I got this so I could film timelapses of myself painting, both on the tabletop and at an easel. It works perfectly for both. The screw that changes the angle of the phone is a little fiddly but once you have it in position it stays and it’s perfect. The part that clamps it onto a table (or easel) is easy to tighten and loosen and it’s very secure and sturdy. It wasn’t designed for this purpose so you can’t see the screen that well but you can press the button to start the video and it works well.
