Product as advertised. The threads perfectly matched the threads on my shade. My only criticism is the on-off switch. It works just fine and can be reached via the top of the shade, but the original switch had a chain to turn the light on and off. The chain makes more sense as it is easier to access. But this is a solid product, and I recommend it.

I went with this option because it was Solid machined brass vs pressed sheeting. It’s a heavy, quality piece - honestly impressed by value. Looks great, and was easy to install and adjust the fit. Was able to get the patina to match the antique piece I was refurbishing. Performance is excellent. Switch is sturdy as well.

I used this, along with a cloth covered spt2 cord, to wire a ceramic lamp base I made. Pros - MUCH higher quality than what the typical lamp kit included. It is genuinely nice metal and does not feel cheap. Cautions - it was just a mm or so too wide to slip an uno lampshade over. I got it to work by sanding the screw threads, but that was a pain. There are plenty of other lamp shade options though, I just wish I have realized this when shade shopping. Also note that the SPT2 cord worked just fine, but getting the underwriters knot tied and crammed in the available space would have been a lot easier with SPT1 cord. It still worked though!

Works perfectly on our table lamps. Very well made. Nice brushed brass finish.
