... about 15 campaign levels to play through which sounded good. I haven't even played the campaign yet but ...
Bought this game purely because it was reduced to £25 and according to gamefaqs it has about 15 campaign levels to play through which sounded good. I haven't even played the campaign yet but I'm so impressed by the gorgeousness of the game and its solid weighty gameplay that I felt like rating the game right now. Played through the combat readiness program and got a good feel for the multiplayer gameplay and level design. Movement feels great and the exo suit mechanics are glorious! Looking at the potential upgrades there appears to be a really good progression system in place which I'm looking forward to unlocking. The guns are also varied and handle/look/sound ten out of ten. It's not just the graphics that are gorgeous.,the levels are rich in detail and full of nice touches that add to the immersion of the game. Having said that the size of the multiplayer maps are small relative to battlefield. But this is no issue for me. I care about good visuals and a solid weighty feel to the gameplay which this game delivers brilliantly. BF4 was epic and fun. This is memorable, beautiful and fun. I was massively disappointed with Destiny but hugely impressed with this so far. I can't comment on the campaign but if the levels are as beautiful and well realised as the multiplayer levels, and, the story is good, then this game would be 9-10/10 for me. I look forward to what sledgehammer will come out with next.

Great Game But Buy Black Ops 3!!
Came brand new! Shipped fast! Definitely recommend! I know I am here to review the service and not the game! But if I were to review the game, I would say that the game is very nice! Great graphics but only lasts me about an 1 hour of fun. Honestly just go play the Black Ops franchise. I have more fun on Black Ops 2 on PS3 than Advanced Warfare on PS4. But since it has been a few weeks since BO3 came out, go buy that! Amazing game and worth the money I paid out for it :D However, only buy BO3 for PS4. BO3 on Xbox 360 and PS3 is shocking! Graphics are terrible! Worse than Black Ops 2 or even MW2! BO3 on PS3/360 runs at 30fps whereas every other cod plays back at 60fps. Turns out that the game wasn't even made by Treyarch since they were working on the next gen game! I know I am rambling on about Cod and I am a big fan but at the end of the day, it is what floats your boat. I just recommend BO3 as it looks better, feels better and is better :D!

Not the best, not the worst, just CoD being dragged out as long as the money-making franchise allows. I liked it, so sue me...
I admit to feeling a little bemused by the one star reviews hereabouts, and not a little saddened for good measure. CoD:AW really doesn't deserve the dull and boring comments, and the constant comparisons to earlier versions in the franchise are really a bit lame by now don't you think? It is what it is, another game in a long line of games from this mega-franchise. Of course the originality and thrill of the original is gone, long gone, that's what happens when multinational corporates squeeze every penny out of a franchise. It sucks, but we know what to expect. Indeed, there was never any excuse for buying this and being disappointed, the reviews were all there to absorb and reveal before the game went live back whenever-the-heck it was. Personally, I thought it was a decent as ever shooter. The single player game had an improved narrative if anything, and I enjoyed playing (as always) to get myself acquainted with the new weaponry and manoeuvring before diving headlong into the multiplayer mayhem. That was pretty epic as well, truth be told. Best of all though, I bought it new for a tenner back at the tail-end of 2016, so was even better value than the £14 it's now sitting at. Who knows, I may hang on to it and take it on Antiques Roadshow in 25 years time...

Its good game considering all the bad reviews I read
Its good game considering all the bad reviews I read...I did notice that most of the bad ones are not verified purchases. Nice use of future weapons and exo upgrades. Campaign is a little sort but not as bad BF4! Online play still has nothing on BF4 mind. The two play co-op games were a nice touch. I waited till the price went down I may of been slightly unhappy if i had paid the release price. Overall a good game 7/10 imo. Dont be too put off buy the haters!

Great game! multiplayer especially :)
Im such a tomboy! I have had a ps3 for years and thought i would upgrade. The graphics on this is amazing and the online multiplayer is also good too. If you get this game for a young child then expect them to learn bad language as you get a fair amount on the multilayer. Plus its an 18 so your a bad parent if you willingly buy this for a child! and believe me, i have heard young children on here! ridiculous. But other then that! LOVE THE GAME!

because it is obviously very good, unsurprisingly for a huge franchise that the sound ...
Considering the anticipation surrounding Advanced Warfare it's really quite disappointing. It's apparent that this game is nothing more than a cash cow. Many will say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", which is a valid point, but really you should expect more for your money. With the release of next gen consoles the benchmark for games has increased considerably. Now, I cannot criticise the game on its production value, because it is obviously very good, unsurprisingly for a huge franchise that the sound and graphics will be cutting edge. Where Advanced Warfare suffers is it lacks substance and ingenuity. Is it too much to ask that a game with a huge budget tries to push the boundaries? So what about the jet packs and energy weapons? While the new weapons are admittedly fun, the usefulness of the jet packs is less so. Although they handle nicely, they also serve to make the already small multiplayer levels feel even more restrictive. These two new features are nothing more than gimmicks to disguise the fact that this is basically the same game as the last few releases. The campaign is built on an interesting concept and Kevin Spacey does a great job in carrying the story. On the whole I found the campaign enjoyable; although for the most part it was very linear, there were a few small parts where it opened up and felt more like the game I imagined it would be. It's very short, about 6 hours. Sadly that's to be expected from modern games. The multiplayer gets boring fast. What really disappoints me are the levels are still so small, and I often find myself unable to climb to areas because of invisible level barriers. How they can justify this given the power of next gen consoles is beyond me. This really ruins the immersion of gameplay. They look great, but you just end up going round in circles. I wouldn't expect them to make them battlefield 4 scale because it'd upset the diehard fans, but they could be much better. Perhaps all the good stuff is reserved for DLC. What it all comes down to is that it just isn't worth the money. The COD developers are going to keep milking this franchise until their sales suffer substantially, then they will make some effort. With regards to the price, this basic version gives you 6 hours of gameplay, with no real replay-ability. They've basically made it so that you have to buy the season pass to get any real value out of it, which equates to £70 minimum, assuming you don't buy the extra features, which look to me like a waste of money. They even removed zombies from the full game entirely so it's only on DLC. It feels as though the COD series is gradually giving it's customers less for more. It's an emerging trend amongst game developers as they become more interested in extorting us to maximise profits than creating something new and exciting. They don't deserve your money and honestly I wish I hadn't bothered with it.

Late to the party
I am very late to the COD party, I tried Modern Warfare remastered and I really enjoyed it! So much so that I did modern warfare 2 remastered straight after. I enjoyed them so much I decided to catch up with all of the call of duty games. I was a bit unsure about this one to start with because of the whole futuristic elements of it, I don’t know why I had doubts about it because Titanfall (the first one) is one of my favourite games, and I would say that this has a lot of similarities to Titanfall. I really loved the storyline, I enjoyed that it was different to the last two call of duty games I’ve played, not to mention I got this second hand for £7 and I remember paying £45 for the same game on the Xbox 360 for my brother for Christmas the year it was released. I don’t really enjoy COD multiplayer, so I cannot comment on if there are people that still play it or not. But for the main story - I loved it and loved Kevin Spacey’s character in the game.

Disappointing
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was a significant departure from the core elements that made the franchise beloved by many fans. The introduction of exotic suits with advanced capabilities, such as double jumps and cloaking, drastically altered the gameplay dynamics. This shift moved the series away from its traditional, grounded military action and into a realm that felt overly gimmicky and disconnected from its roots. The futuristic suits not only made the mechanics feel unbalanced and less intuitive, but they also diluted the immersive experience that earlier titles excelled at providing. Overall, this installment represents a disappointing turn for the franchise, failing to capture the essence that once made Call of Duty a standout series.
