I am very impressed with my first order of this product. Having previously bought dried figs from a local health food shop, I decided to try these instead. When reconstituted, the figs are large, soft and very delicious. A good choice.

It says “dried figs” on the pack and this is a correct description! Indeed they were so dry that eating one was like chewing a piece of rubber.Also several in my pack (still 6 months before best before date) tasted and smelt of phenol (TCP)!.Not sure why.All in all I was disappointed that I had a kilo to eat.Waste not, but definitely ‘want not’. I won’t be buying again. Sorry.
