Dead easy to assemble, if you can do the cheapest IKEA book case, this is easier! The upgrades are justifying the price to my opinion. I have the V1, wanted an upgrade for precision, even though I had to return it, but I would imagine someone just starting out having a good time with it. It's design is well thought out and makes a good tool for DIYers. My only complaint is that the fool proof design did not make tramming fool proof. If you care about flattening a surface, you would not want tram marks on your work.

Hardware is fine, followed instructions carefully and working after a couple of hours. Disappointingly a virus was detected when copying files from the usb drive that was provided !! Update: 2024-06-04 helpful support from the vendor, they supplied a set of bits as compensation for the inconvenience caused by the virus. The hardware continues to work as expected using software downloaded from trusted sources.

I'm new to CNC routers and after loads of looking and researching I settled on this Genmitsu 3018 Prover V2. Easy assembly, mostly pre-assembled with only a couple of parts to install. The GRBL offline controller is handy and fun to buzz stuff around. Customer service - After only a couple of days playing and not actually having milled a project yet I crashed the bit into the wood hard and damaged some components. 1 email to SainSmart and they sent free of charge all the replacement parts I needed to get up and running again. I would buy any machine from SainSmart they are top quality, solid units and all are upgradeable in various ways to suit you own needs or wants. My advice for new operators start machining in Styrofoam before expensive woods.

Comprado conjuntamente con el módulo láser 5,5W, todo llegó en el el tiempo indicado. CNC: Packaging perfecto, con todo en su sitio y claramente identificado. Ensamblaje tal como anuncian, en 20 minutos ya estaba funcionando (tenia el software descargado previamente). El manual del paquete llega en inglés y alemán pero en la propia página del pedido en Amazon está el PDF en español. Puesta en marcha muy fácil aunque aconsejo haber leído sobre el tema con anterioridad para que no cunda el nerviosismo durante el proceso. LÁSER: Packaging igualmente perfecto. En este caso, el manual es confuso respecto al cable de conexión al controlador (es compatible con varios modelos). Contacté con Sammy del servicio técnico de Sainsmart y se solucionó inmeditamente. Gran soporte. Primeras pruebas: Como es normal al primer contacto con este tipo de equipos, has de pelearte un poco con las velocidades, potencias y otros parámetros, según cada material. Pero esto lo conlleva el aprendizaje y es necesario fallar para corregir. Resultados buenos en pocos pasos. Recomendación: Las fresas que vienen con el CNC son simples y todas iguales. Compra el set básico de fresas para que te llegue todo junto y no tengas que esperar más dias a disfrutar del equipo. A pesar del asunto del láser, califico con 5 estrellas por la experiencia global.
