Great Gear Puller and a Good Value!
This tool is a must have and great asset for your tool box. I tried beating the half shaft out of my bearing hub with a 17 pound hammer but, could not break it loose. So, I bought the heavier advertised 15T puller. I am very pleased with this purchase. It comes in a light duty plastic case. I spun on the yoke and threw on the puller arms. The center tip of the piston is threaded for easy replacement, or you could possibly just thread a bolt into the shaft in case you don't want a pointed center aligning tip for your specific job application. I propped this up on my leg and clamped the puller arms up around the hub. Then I lightly pumped the handle to put some tension on the tool and shaft. I rechecked my alignment and made any adjustments necessary. Then I started the pull. Pumping gets a little harder each lift of the handle. After a half dozen pumps you can hear a couple of loud POPS and then the shaft was broke free. No way could I have done the job without this. Yea, I have torches, cutoff wheels, sawzalls, etc. But this is so clean and easy to use to take care of the problem. There is plenty of cylinder stroke to do almost anything with this unit. The jaws can be reversed for larger pulls. Definitely saved me a ton of trouble for what the unit costs. I highly recommend this product. A little bit of research and reading reviews landed me on this puller. Here are some of my pics showing the start and finish of my pull. The shots were taken with the puller working on my 2008 Ford Expedition rear wheel hub assembly job.

Absolute Gamechanger!
Replaced rear wheel bearing on my sons BMW e90 330xi. Rear axle removal can be extremely challenging on these cars. Broke 2 hub pullers and a manual 3 jaw puller before dropping car off at local import mechanic. Mechanic called next day and said he couldn’t budge axle even after heating hub to over 800 deg F with an oxyacetylene torch and recommended I have car towed to dealer. Latch ditch effort was this amazing tool. I ordered the 15 ton version and it felt like it needed all 15 tons. Axle popped loose like a gunshot. It is a large, heavy tool and is much easier with two people to get attached. $90 is a crazy bargain for a tool of this quality and capability.
