One can never tell what effect a single supplement can have - there are far too many other factors in play - but this one, becaue it delivers "only" 10mcg of pure zinc, is one of very few that meet the MHS RDA guideline of 11 for an adult. Too much zinc can be poisonous.It is outrageous the way some companies try to boost sales by increasing the active ingredient way beyond what is needed or can be absorbed, knowing that many people with think that "extra strong" is somehow good. In many cases, eg vitaimn b6, it can actually be bad for you. I have seen bottles of B6 offering 1500 x the RDA. With vit C the surplus simply disappears down the toilet, but this is not always the case, especially with fat-soluble vitamins, which are stored in the body and can do harm.I take zinc just for skin and mental health but for my prostate worries - zinc is essential for the correct functioning of that important organ.

I can,t really say much about these I brought them for hubby to give him energy but he keeps falling asleep and forgets too take them when he does remember his skin looks more glowing and he never stops eating maybe a side effect...we,ll see how it goes over the weeks

does what its meant to for sleep and male virility

be good if these tablets were coated because as is they don't swallow easy

I'm onto my second bottle now. As a part-time veggie/vegan, I find this really helps with recovery from workouts and I can notice a difference in DOMS without it.
