5PCS Microwave Radar Sensor RCWL-0516 Switch Module Human Induction Board Detector

These little units are very good.I have tested them and they have picked up movement through walls etc and over a good distance. I was surprised how well they worked.

They did not work very well. had to go right up to them to get them to work. Had to throw them away and buy from another supplier

Although this is described as "RCWL-0516", a different chip is used and 3.3V is provided by a separate regulator on the underside of the board. As with the RCWL-0516, the chip processes the demodulated (homodyne) microwave signal to decide whether or not some output device should be switched on. If you prefer to interpret the amplifier output yourself you can patch a fine wire from pin 12 of the chip (or the nearby capacitor and 1M resistor) to the otherwise unused connection pin marked CDS.

The media could not be loaded. Advertising said 5 to 7 meters detection. All the boards I got from this seller! can't detect movements big or small front side or back more than 1cm away on two of the boards you have to touch to set them off. I give up with Amazon no one checks up on sellers like this!

Only tried one so far, but It worked OK eventually.When used in home automation, it's very sensitive to interference from my attached WeMos D1 mini, so cannot be placed too close (i.e. within a couple of cms).Also it needs excellent filtering (2 x 1,000uF capacitors & 10ohm resistor), if one uses a common power supply, but can run off 5v.When it works, it can detect me at least 4m away which is more than enough.

These devices are illegal to use in the UK and Europe. They cannot be certified for use in the UK or Europe as they do not operate in suitable frequency bands, they should be withdrawn from sale by Amazon.

Die tun alle mit einem Wemos D1 prima ihren Dienst...Schön ist, dass die schon eine Sekunde nach Auslösung wieder scharf sind.

Hasta la fecha bien. Solo he usado uno pero funciona muy bien, espero que el resto sea igual.

At first glance they look good. PCBs are connected and have to be split. Tested 1 unit and works well. Will even see movement through 3/4" plywood.

Consegna nei tempi, è una semplice busta quindi ve la trovate nella posta.il componente è davvero molto piccolo ma funziona bene. semplicissimo da utilizzare (3 fili) e da nascondere.per cosi pochi euro direi perfetto. ;-)
