Ich habe nicht Diabetes und verwende sie nur cirka 2 bis 3 mal pro Woche zur Kontrolle. Ein bis zwei mal jährlich lasse ich meinen Blutzuckerwert im Labor bestimmen. Obwohl ich schlank und nicht übergewichtig bin, bin ich sehr stark durch familiäre Vererbung belastet. Trotz sportlicher Bewegung, merke ich seit meinem 55 Lebensjahr, dass sich mein Blutzuckerspiegel erhöht hat. Nüchtern bewegt er sich so zwischen 90 und 100.Ab so einem Wert soll man, laut meinem Arzt, mit der Selbstkontrolle beginnen. Mit den Teststreifen bin ich sehr zufrieden, da ich bis jetzt noch keinen Labor Befund hatte, der viel schlechter war als die Teststreifen.
