Engaging Magnetic Words for Key Stage 1 - Years 1&2 - Pack 1

Arrived promptly and I am very pleased with them. My 5 year old son has to read one word everyone he opens the fridge and this really improved his reading skills.

These really do work in developing my daughters reading ability.We choose 10 new words per week and stick them on the fridge.Once learnt the reward is to choose 10 more.Usually a mixture of easy phonic sound words and trick spelling of words.I have used these since age of 3, whereby we used reception class pack.My daughter has just turned 4 and is happily working through this pack for years 1 and 2.Lots of game play also- for example, moving the words around to form a sentance, can be fun by creating silly sentances.Also when my daughter reads from a book she will run to fridge and pick words out to match the text.The only dowmfall i would say is that this pack of words are rather small and fiddly so dont move around the fridge door as easily, or when wanting to use them for games. Previous pack were just right.
