Got several of these gates. And they are really good quality and surprisingly sturdy.

Note: Many people complaining about it not fitting, you have to remove a piece in order for it to fit in (I used the screw to just pull it out) Used two to extend a gate by 14cm, 7cm either side. 12 or 13cm would have been perfect, but not an option, it still has a tight fit and works very well. I screwed it into the wall instead of using the strips to stick it to the wall. I extended another gate by 7cm, but this was a little more difficult for me to install due to my staircase being exactly that width - meaning I had to leave out one of the (bottom) cups to screw into the wall. It is just as secure due to it barely fitting in. Good purchase. Has a tendency to feel cheap though, which might throw some people off.

I had to find a video to understand how to attach it to the gate, but probably it's just me not being very good with DIY. Other than that, all good

We managed with just the normal gate for a while but our daughter was getting to the point it was at risk of not holding so we decided it was best to get the extension and spindle bolts to make it fit better. They were simple to fit and made the gate far more secure.

Pour quel usage je le recommande Idéal pour les parents ayant déjà une barrière Safety 1st Easy Close et souhaitant sécuriser légèrement plus d’espace. Convient pour les escaliers, portes et passages fréquents pour enfants curieux et mobiles. Mon verdict Cette extension est solide, facile à installer et pratique pour sécuriser un peu plus d’espace sans effort. Elle répond parfaitement aux besoins des parents pour des ajustements mineurs. Je la recommande pour ceux qui veulent renforcer la sécurité sans gros travaux.

Accesorio original de Safety para poder ampliar la barrera protectora para los peques y que no suban o bajen las escaleras de casa. En mi caso, la barrera se quedaba un poco pequeña y necesitaba mayor dimensión. Con este adaptador totalmente compatible, se solucionó el problema. Es fácil de colocar, muy seguro y un agarre muy bueno a la barrera. Si necesitas mayor tamaño para tu escalera, este extensor te va a ir ideal.
