Lord Sheraton Caretaker Wood Balsam 75ml

I love this. I brought this because I like Buddha's and I have some wooden ones. They were looking a bit dry and normal polish didn't do anything. However, when I got this and used it they came up a real treat. It got into all the cracks and really brought them to life. I've also used it on my coffee table and it brought a lovely shine to it. There is a bit of a smell, although not too unpleasant it does go. Just a bit on a soft cloth and then a good buff with another cloth. I would definitely recommend this if your wood is a bit dry.

This smells lovely! Been using it for decades and although I try new arrivals, nothing compares. Don't use this as a cleaner, dust/brush the furniture first and then you're ready to start. The important trick is to use as little as possible and then lightly buff the surface, trying to leave as much protective wax behind. The smell is fabulous, if you're selling the house use it before buyers arrive, much better than coffee or scented candles!

Very good wax for furniture but a bit small in size and you must know it has a strong smell which is normal

After considering various customer reviews i was a little unsure whether to purchase this but thought it did not break the bank and i have used Lord Sheraton leather cream and it has been excellent so I took the chance. I used this on my pine table and benches and instantly could see the result - the wood absorbed the balsam greedily and instantly highlighted shine and brought back the colour of the original stain. my table looks rejuvenated. nice fresh wood smell and non greasy. would recommend highly.

I have an antique oak table that is grainy, I wanted a polish that didn’t dry in the grain and leave a hard cream residue, which has happened before and it took me months to get it off. This went on easily and my table has polished up a treat and is like a shiny conker, and it didn’t cost a kings ransom. Chuffed to bits.

Small amount goes a long way. Feeds my leather suite well. Helps remove scratches. Lovely smell. Suite always feels soft after I have used. I think this is prolonging the life of my suite.

Really good wood balm to enhance the appearance of furniture - easy to apply & work into wood. Also protective for wood. Pleasant scent. Would recommend

This is a very good product. I use this for my TV cabinet, after sanding. It protects the cabinet well, I use it 2/3 times per year to keep it in good condition. It helps protect it from marks/water. It does have a strong smell so needs to be used in a well-ventilated room.

Lord Sheraton's came high recommended by a cleaning guru. I ordered it, thinking I might try it on my extensive wood furniture collection. While it is not popular in modern design, I'm a huge fan of real wood furniture in all the varieties-maple,oak, inlaid mahogany. Lord Sheraton's made my maple desk shine and smell fantastic! In fact, I had no idea my desk was so dirty until the dirt was on my cloth! It leaves a very clean surface and smells so good!

The best besswax on the planet!!!! I was able to bring life back into my tired antique wood furniture! It even brought a shine to a 100+ year old pub table!! I can see a reflection in the wood. Gorgeous stuff!!!!

Great fine wood protection. Be sure to follow instructions and use with maximum ventilation, very strong fumes when applying. Great shine, well worth the money. Primarily used on Linn Sondek LP12 turntable plinth made of fluted afromosia wood.
