Even though the specifications say that the inside diameter is 0.78", it fits perfectly well on a watering can with a 1" spout. I would imagine it would even work on a slightly larger spout as the nozzle is made of rubber and very flexible. If you have any challenges getting it on, you can apply some dish soap to the inside of the nozzle and it should slide on the spout easily.

It fit my watering can and has a nice even spray. Mine did crack when I left it outside all winter.

Very easy to use , made my old watering can useable, I removed the old smashed metal sprinkler head and put this rubber one on & now I can use my favorite watering can again. These can also be popped open to clean out debris. I rinse it well and put it back together.

Fits my old 2 gallon Smith & Hawken watering can. Rubber cup tends to collapse when pressing onto the spout.

I have a bunch of watering cans that used to have shower heads on them, but have since broken or died. These fit a range of sizes. Nice , gentle rain like watering. Good for seedlings and newly planted seeds.

Rubber it’s made from is junk .Splitting right away.

Leaks like a sieve around the seal. Very bad design. I will not re-engineer, but will duck tape repair my old spout which lasted years. Bought this one because the original spout is no longer sold anywhere.
