Cheap and does the job
Bought this to pressure-test the underfloor heating system that I just installed, and to keep it under pressure before screeding. Worked just fine for that. A few things to consider: (1) as others have mentioned, the guage range goes to very high pressure so if you only want to go 10 Bar max as I did then it's difficult to read - solved by buying a separate Silverline guage that goes to 20 Bar. (2) again, as others have mentioned, there were a couple of sharp metal edges on the pump handle that could cause a cut - a few seconds work with a file sorted that out. (3) a bit of PTFE tape was required to on the 1/4" BSP fitting to the hose to stop it leaking under pressure. But all in all it was good value, worked well, saved me money on getting a plumber or heating engineer in to do a simple job, and I'm sure it'll come in handy for other plumbing work.

Katsu pipework tester
It arrived as ordered , on time .I assembled it and thought it was ok for the price . I put ptfe tape on my joints and the machine connections and then added a metre length of 15 mm copper to check it out .It lost pressure every time I tried it albeit over hours . This carried on fo 24/36 hours after It arrived , and despite altering / checking joints .and so I read the reviews again and noticed people were critical of the gauge .I changed the gauge for one I had in the garage with an expansion vessel kit .The pressure tester has held pressure at 4.5 bar for 3 hours without dropping now, so I would agree with other reviews that the gauge is not doing the job required of it .Overall I think it’s good value for the money and I will shortly be testing it out on a small job shortly and then it will probably gather dust in the garage with the other collection of that will be useful gear

It does its job
I am not a plumber. I am a DIY enthusiast that just needed to do a one off pressure test on some underfloor heating pipework. The options to me were to buy a proper Rothenburger machine for £150 or try and hire one from somewhere. Thankfully this cheap machine worked perfectly instead and saved me money. It requires a little bit of assembly at the beginning and there aren't instructions but it wasn't too hard. The end nozzle on the unit is a 1/4" Male BSP connector, the same connector is on the end of the the pipe, but there is also an adapter included that changes that to 1/2" Male BSP. Unlike some other reviews I found that the pressure gauge was accurate. The gauge only has MPa and psi in its scale. But my underfloor heating pipework said 6bar and the gauge correctly showed 87psi. This is a good buy if you are just looking to perform a pressure test once or very occasionally.

Used it to top up Solar system, cheap, worked well
I had low pressure on my solar system.I used this top it up, worked very well. Needed PFE tape for the connection.

Works but very inaccurate!!!
Cheap product for what it is, it does the job for a one odd occasion like I needed it for.Had to use lots of ptfe tape to stop it leaking.I had to buy a separate gauge because the range on this one is just far to long and inaccurate. The picture I attached is 4 bar of pressure on this unit.Just be careful what you are using it to test!

Worth buying, works ok.
Good, works fine at good price.

Works fine for cost and quality.
Had no assembly instructions so had to figure putting together. Once setup I put a stop-end on and tested it against itself to find leaks and see if it would hold pressure. Found one leak. NOTE: Maybe people were not using the small ring seals provided, hence leaking). Didn't require need for teflon tape at all. Works fine for cost and quality.
