My partner decided she wanted to get into this sort of thing so we purchased these cards. Mainly due to the fact they appeal to amateurs and was reasonably priced.

Good for beginners and very easy to look up quickly the card meanings. Probably not enough in-depth for more experienced readers. Definitely would recommend for someone starting out and learning the basics

Fast delivery, the book arrived in perfect condition. Easy to use guide for beginners. I really think it covers basic information to start the understanding behind tarot. Not enough to learn everything so I complemented with another guides that hopefully will help me to go deeper in my knowledge. It is a handy guide to have to hand when practising readings. Maybe I'm missing some more examples of spreads to try out. For the price I paid, is fine.

Haven't read it yet (it's for Xmas, as controversial as that sounds), but I love Lisa's books. They're practical, down to earth, & explain things very well for a learner of the 'Craft'. Having bought & read Lisa's 'Wicca For Beginners', I found her style easy to read, informative, & with a common-sense appeal. This is one of seven of her books I have bought for the holidays (& for my wife to wrap up for a Xmas present, I like presents I've chosen for myself) & I'm sure that eventually I'll end up with a full set of all her books.

Having bought many books on the subject previously- I was drawn to this one and gave it a go- I am delighted with this book it is the best Tarot Book I have ever purchased- Clear- easy to understand and straight forward in every way- I cannot recommend this book highly enough for amateurs or professionals who want to start readings or brush up on skills- a fantastic purchase.

This is a great book from beginner like me who might be unsure or even a little intimidated by the tarot. The author understands that a new reader might not know how cards correlate in a spread and she shows how even negative cards (7 of swords! Oh no!) can be read as positive. Very nice. Very grateful. Thank you!

I recently started getting into Tarot again and this has become my go to guidebook for the simple layouts and clearly written card interpretations. The "introduction to Tarot" field is crowded with contenders and I own several other books on this subject, including a couple with bright illustrations, but this simple guidebook is my favorite one of all and the one I keep going to again and again. I do recommend getting it in paperback form because you'll be flipping through it a lot. Get this book if you have a Rider-Waite deck - it's all you need starting out, and you won't be disappointed.

It looks interesting but I am afraid I haven't had time to read it yet.

This is by far the easiest and most influential tarot card guide I have ever come across. I have been reading cards for a few years and I have still come across valuable knowledge I never knew before. This book is easy to understand, follow, and absorb. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to give tarot cards a try.
