Q: Is it possible to view onion cells etc? My brother is doing biology in high school

Was not impressed with this product I would probably say no

Q: We can not see through it? Can anyone advise if I am doing something wrong?

Have you flipped the light underneath? It turns on when you flip it round.

Q: Has anyone else not been able to focus with the 1200 lens? Is there something I need to try? Others work ok.

We had to play around with zooming in and out, adjusting the height of the microscope and making sure what we were looking at was virtually transparent and directly on the light x
