Waited for this for years
I've been searching for this book for years, and they are either sold out, or over priced for the newer prints (by hundreds), found this used book for a fraction and it is in great condition! Thank you for finishing my collection

Fantastic, far better than first
I've been playing RuneScape for over 6 years and I'm a big fan of quests and storyline. I got and read the first book as soon as it came out, so when I heard the second book was out I got it as soon as I could. I just finished reading it today, and it has to be one of the better books I have read. While it may not be a classic to remember, it is still a great book. There were very few flaws that I noticed with the plot or writing. One thing I was very impressed with was how the description of areas was. I played the game and been to these areas, yet while reading the book I pictured it looking different (and better). Yet, it still felt like it kept true to the game, just more of what it would be in a more realistic world (and maybe what it will look like after game updates area!).The plot was good and gave a good bit of back-story not in the game. I know a lot of the game's back-story already, but the book went into more detail of a lot of the games elements. For example, Canfis is actaully as bad a place to live as Burgh de rott, which I never noticed from anything in the game. While I didn't quite remember all the parts of the first book (been a while!), the story did remind you enough of the previous events without it seeming too much like recaps. Also, I believe the character's viewpoints and dialog has improved in the second book as well.So overall, it is a great book and just as good as any other great book I read. It has some noticeable improvement since the first book and still stays true to the game. Also, the ending is good (not the best) and it reveals most of the answers you wanted to know during the course of the book (which makes you await the next part even more!). Even if you never played the game and/or never read the first book, I would still recommend this book.

The Heroes Adventures Continue
Return to Canifis is a welcome sequel to Betrayal at Falador. With the characters strongly developed from the first novel, this sequel is very engaging. I feel that this book deserves 5 stars because of the absolute perfection that T.S. Church managed to compile into his epic storyline. From reading his material, it is hard to believe that the RuneScape series were his first ever published books; and also his first attempt at fantasy writing. He writes in a style that supersedes many fantasy writers with years of experience! If you plan of reading this title, I strongly recommend you start with Betrayal at Falador, and read the series in order for the optimal experience. If you are continuing from the debut novel, then I am confident you will find this book to be more rich with its adventure and plot development, as Betrayal was essentially a detailed introduction of what is to come and what dangers threaten the lands where the main characters reside.I recommend this book in a very high regard, as it was my favourite fiction series that I have read. To those that have not played the game, do not worry, as Tom Church really puts the effort in to describe everything in great, yet concise detail (as others have described in other reviews who have not even heard of the game). For those of you who are familiar with the game, you'll recognize the accuracy of much of the setting, characters and equipment and items used throughout the adventures.I hope that you will enjoy this series as much as I, and man others did! =]---Greg Jankowski

I only wish I could find Hardcover for These Books
I can't ding any stars because I got exactly what I ordered, but if they offered this in Hardcover, I would definitely add a 6th star. This really is such a great book, especially for those people that have played the actual game and enjoy a good novel.

Great product
Amazon makes you leave a heading and a comment so I am typing this up to say its a good product and does what it says. If you are reading this, buy it. I don't leave 5 stars unless the product exceeds my demanding expectations. If it falls short of doing 100% of what it says, I leave 1 star.
