Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox

I have literally bought several HUNDREDS of toys but this is one of my top 5 summer toys for my kids. I wasn't able to take it out last summer due to it raining every single day 😒 but this year, it looks like we actually may have a summer and the kids were elated that they were able to play with it once again. Pros: Provides many hours of fun. Keeps kids entertained and out of my hair. My 8 year old still loves to play with it so you can get plenty of use out of it. Heck even I like to play around with the taps! 😆 Good quality product. Cleverly designed. Keeps kids off the tablet and gets them thinking about how things work. Fantastic summer toy that can be played by just one kid or shared with a few. Cons: Bit of an arse to put together but when set up it will stay up. Leaks water at the bottom for some reason. Taps are too tough for my 4 year old to turn on / off. Can only use in on warm days as kids inevitably get soaking wet. Bulky so storing it in my house is a bit of an issue in the colder months. Would I recommend it? Definitely! It's made summer so much more fun in my house! My kids absolutely love it and I get a lovely break!

This little turtle box has been a welcome addition to our garden this year. Our two year old daughter has used it so much that if she never used it again we've still had our monies worth. Again like my other reviews this is an item that seems to vary greatly in price from £40 - £24, we bought it when down at £24. The quality appears strong and rigid, I originally wanted a wooden one as they looked 'posher' than these plastic monsters. However after lots of family and friends chucking their rotten and battered wooden frames away or complaining all the weeds come up through the ground mesh, I relented and bough this garish plastic one. So pleased I did, we are very happy. Don't buy your play sand from Amazon though, shocking high prices. The cheapest play sand is that big retailer famed for ordering through catalogue numbers then either home delivery or to your collection point please! Also discovered that play sand is so deliciously silky it lurks on patio slabs with the same evil thoughts as black ice!

I've wanted to buy this for my children for a while. But at £70 ish in price I feel its very expensive for a water play table. I purchased it in a half price sale and feel this was more reasonable in price. The bad points. We found it a pain to Assemble. Screw holes not Pre drilled and poor instructions. The plug which prevents the water escaping was very difficult to get fit. It took us ages to get a tight seal on it. Poor design. The cannon is poorly fitted too, and the water level has to be practically over flowing for the far too short pipe to reach the water supply. The good, its a wickedly inventive play table for pirate fans. Our children are girls and this is a unisex item. Lots of various toys, buckets and strainers were included. Yes I would recommended to all despite some poor areas.

Really well made, sturdy, great size - our 18 month old twins both sit in it and have lots of room to move and have toys. It’s really great. It has two built in seats too. Once it’s filled with sand (I used 3 big bags) you won’t be able to move it, so choose a place carefully. Bear in mind that if placed on a lawn, all the grass underneath it will die. I bought some green ‘bungee cords’ (the ones with hooks on each end) and use those to hold the cover in place when not in use to keep the sand dry. Otherwise it’s a very loose fit and will blow away with the wind. Beware, slugs love to crawl inside where they die in the sand. Every time we open it we have to scoop out 3 or 4 slugs before the children can go in it.

During the hot weather I bought this for my 2 dogs to cool down. Wow best thing I’ve bought them. Great that the lid or turtle back comes off and keeps it covered. My neighbours little girl was in and out of the pool too having a great time. I can see how excellent it would be as a sand pit too for kids. But during our heatwave it was a god send for the dogs keeping them lovely and cool. So worth every penny for this item. I clean it out easily every few days or so as it gets grubby with the dogs and then the water goes on the garden. Only don’t do what I did last time and that is tip it up to empty the water out as the weight cracked the base open. Use a jug to empty into a bucket and then water your plants or into the drain. Definitely a Best Buy of the year item.

Tiene buena altura para peques desde 1.5 años, pueden estar de pie y jugar con el agua. Trae muchos accesorios para jugar. Aconsejo comprar una mini bomba de agua aparte, para no estar ahí bombeando el agua manualmente todo el tiempo.

تهبل وحلوه للصيف وحلوه للاطفال الصغار من عمر سنتين لين ٥ ،٦ تهبللل . بس انتبهوا للاطفال من الماء لازم مراقبه لهم .

Valves are too tight .. The whole unit moves when you want to operate. So I am salvaging it by cutting of the handle after agjusting it.

My 17 month old son loves this! Has been playing with it constantly. Loves it with water, but still Enjoys it with only the toys and no water. It is very sturdy ( he actually has climbed in it and sat in there)! The little toys, pirates, shark, boats and strainer cups are a bonus. Highly recommend! Note my husband used a drill to set it up and felt it would be harder to assemble without.

Fantastisch leuk speel apparaat voor m'n dochter van 2 en zitten veel opties op waardoor ze er vele jaren mee kan spelen. Ik miste wel een klein schroefje en sommige onderdelen ben ik benieuwd hoelang dat mee gaat maar we zullen het zien daarom 4 sterren.zeer tevreden met de aankoop.
