I liked that it was rich and engaging. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes hunting. I chose this rating because I truly loved the book.

Our friend’s son loves to hunt. We wanted to give him something other than a toy for his birthday. These are nice chapter books that he loves and has asked for more.

My 11 year old son loved this book. It's hard finding books that really catch his attention but this one did. I will be buying more books from this author.

My 8 year old grandson loves this book, keeps him interested in reading as he nurtures his love of hunting. Great to keep him reading during the summer.

My son dislikes reading, but he needed to read a few books for school. As a teen, Boy Scout, and outdoorsman, he didn’t mind this book.

I got this book as a read-aloud for my boys (7&5). My husband overheard the first chapter and took over reading it at bedtimes. He insisted on reading multiple chapters a night because he was really interested in it as well. All my boys loved it.

I preread this book before giving it to my grandson, who is getting interested in hunting.I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. There's a multi-level story being told about a first hunt, friendships...I don't want to give too much away. No more spoilers.In closing, I'm looking forward to talking with my grandson about the book, once he reads it.PS: If I had granddaughter (maybe someday) I'd give this book to her too.
