They help you breathe.
They work well for me. I use them at night to ease breathing and sometimes in the daytime when the pollen count is high.

Simply the best I've found, though still not perfect
I have had my nose broken a few times and have had 2 operations on it, the final operation was to help me breath through my nasal passage which was only partly successful. For years I have struggled with breathing through my nose, meaning I drink a lot more to try and stop my mouth from drying out.I primary wanted these strips to help me breath through my nose and stop the issues I have with dry mouth, sore throat and even ulcers.Secondary I hoped these strips would also help with my snoring.I can confirm that these strips do open my nasal passage, they do help againts sore throat and dry mouth and they do reduce snoring or so my wife tells me.I have tried cheaper brands on Amazon but they are never a large as the original and usually don't stick as well. The cheaper brands are better than nothing and I kept my cheap ones incase I run out of these.I have also tried breathing aids that you push into your nose, again these work and again not as well as these strips. They seem to work well at first but gradually weaken or fall out of your nose and can make your nose sore.I've also tried vapour inhalers and 'Happinose' nasal decongestant balm. The vapour inhalers are cheap and work well but only temporary. The balm works ok and lasts much longer than the inhalers. These strips are not perfect and do not cure my nasal issues, but are the best I've found and hence I have gave them 5 stars, I now subscribe for these to be delivered monthly. My nightly nasal routine is to give my nose a good blow, inhale eucalyptus vapour, apply 'Happinose' and finally, after wiping my nose, apply a 'large' breathright nasal strip. This gives me and my wife the best chance of a good night's sleep. Some nights are better than othersI'm sure many others have a similar issues with their nasal passage, hopefully I've have given you a few ideas.I'll take a few pictures now, showing all the nasal aids I've tried or use, thanks for reading

Stick well, help to reduce snoring.
Opinion seems to be very divided as to whether these things work. For me, there has been no single 'magic bullet' - but these larger, stickier strips do help (well, my wife tells me they do). Cheaper strips simply unpeeled during the night and proved useless. Worthwhile degreasing your nose before sticking a strip on – and unpeeling SLOWLY and GENTLY in the morning. Not exactly visually appealing, and slightly uncomfortable at first, but you soon get used to them.In addition, we’ve found other tactics that also help.Raise the head of the bed by six inches (OK, 15.24cm) – a few piles of old paperbacks did the trick for us. In addition to reducing snoring, also helps reduce morning hangover/tension headaches. Bit of a hassle to set up, and I was sceptical, but it really does work, especially the headache bit 😊.Take a couple of antihistamine tablets before going to bed (best value is Diphenhydramine HCl, the generic active ingredient of most well-known hay-fever medications). They’ll reduce nasal swelling, open the airways, AND help you feel sleepy.Try a good quality hypo-allergenic (NOT duck-down or feathers) continental size pillow, 65cm x 65cm – that’s an extra 15cm of height compared to a standard UK pillow (50cm x 75cm). This gives your head much better support and helps keep airways open – it also feels much more comfortable (you can really wedge your shoulder into the pillow without your head lolling over the top).Taken together, all of these wheezes probably sound like a load of palava just to go to bed, but, once set up, they really don’t require much effort. And, if you or your partner is a snorer, the results really can be transformational in terms of quality of sleep and quality of life.Good luck.

Great product... but low score because of excessive plastic packaging
I'm a long-time customer of Breathe Right strips and give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for that. Don't bother with the cheaper copycats which either have poor adhesion or don't actually help open your airways. On their own they may not stop snoring, but they do make a difference. If you have inflammation at the top of your nose or nasal polyps, no product is going to help as the problem is the inflammation. But if you have mild narrowing of airways then these strips make the difference for being able to go to sleep breathing through your nose and getting a better night's sleep.I have only given 3 stars because of the climate disaster of the packaging. My set of 5 packs came in a box large enough for 30 packs and was filled with non-recyclable single use polystyrene packaging 'wotsits' and more plastic air pockets. I try to minimise waste especially single-use plastic waste and this went against that. The packs are not fragile and could have been tightly wrapped in a single layer of cardboard + packing tape. I'm hoping that Metropharm will take note and make changes.
